Frameless Steam Enclosure Factory
Precision-engineered frameless steam enclosures for residential spas, wellness resorts, and high-end hospitality projects — designed to contain heat, seal perfectly, and last.
A frameless steam enclosure is a fundamentally different engineering challenge from a standard shower enclosure. The requirement to contain saturated steam at elevated temperatures and pressures demands near-perfect glass-to-glass sealing, thermally stable hardware, and structural glass thick enough to resist the differential pressure of a steam environment. YL Bath has developed a dedicated production line for frameless steam enclosures, applying these engineering requirements to every unit we produce.
As a specialized frameless steam enclosure factory, we serve spa designers, hospitality architects, luxury property developers, and wellness center operators who demand enclosures that perform as beautifully as they look.
Engineering Requirements for Steam Enclosures
Steam enclosures must retain heat efficiently to bring the interior to therapeutic steam temperatures (typically 40–50°C) within 10–15 minutes. This requires:
Thick structural glass (10 mm or 12 mm tempered) to minimize thermal conduction loss
Precision-fitted seals at all glass-to-glass, glass-to-wall, and glass-to-floor junctions
Steam-rated EPDM or silicone seals that remain flexible and effective at high temperatures
Airtight door mechanisms — magnetic seals and compression seals to prevent steam escape
Hardware with no exposed iron components — all fittings in SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel or solid brass
Overhead glass panels or ceilings for fully enclosed steam rooms
Ventilation port provisions for steam generator plumbing integration
Our Frameless Steam Enclosure Product Range
Custom Walk-In Steam Enclosures
Fully bespoke frameless enclosures fabricated to the exact dimensions of the installation space. Single-door or double-door configurations. Available with hinged or sliding door mechanisms. Glass-to-glass 90° corner construction with precision polished edges and silicone bonding. Suitable for home spa rooms, hotel suite bathrooms, and wellness center wet areas.
Standard Steam Shower Cabins
Pre-engineered frameless steam enclosure kits in a range of sizes: 900×900 mm, 1000×1000 mm, 1200×800 mm, 1200×900 mm, and 1500×900 mm. Includes tempered glass side panels, hinged steam door, ceiling panel, steam vent fitment, and all mounting hardware. Designed for straightforward site installation and compatible with all major steam generator brands.
Steam Room Glass Walls
For large wet room or steam room conversions, we supply individual tempered glass panel systems that allow architects and interior designers to configure custom steam spaces within existing structures. Glass panels are available in clear, low-iron ultra-clear, or satin-etched finish, with polished, flat-ground, or beveled edges.

Thermal Performance Commitment: Our frameless steam enclosures are tested for steam retention using a standardized heat-up and hold-temperature protocol before shipment. We document temperature retention over a 20-minute test period. This is not standard practice in the industry — but it is ours.
Design & Customization Services
Steam enclosure projects are rarely off-the-shelf. Our in-house design team works with architectural drawings, 3D renders, and site survey data to produce shop drawings for client approval before any glass is cut. We accommodate irregular room shapes, sloped ceilings, level changes, and integration with existing tile and stone finishes. Prototyping and pre-installation mock-up services are available for large or complex projects.
